March 23, 2021: Viruses and tournament planning

At the beginning of March, we were abruptly slowed down - almost halfway to the tournament site... But now the shows will start again. Taking precautions against this and that virus, the green season will hopefully offer some opportunities. At the moment I am planning for Hagen, which the organizers have upgraded relevantly - thank you! The horses are already in good shape, and we will keep up the good training.

Solid preparation has also paid off with Belstaff and my student Dong Seon Peter Kim, who recently competed successfully in Wellington. The big bay was with us for a few weeks during the winter, and since the beginning of February Peter has been riding him in the USA. Winning the Grand Prix Freestyle with almost 73 percent is a really nice success for the two.

As things are right now, the Olympic Games will take place in July and August. And after his performance in Wellington, Peter can definitely keep an eye on the event, because South Korea has a secured a space for one individual rider. Of course, I myself would like to be active not only as a trainer, but also as a rider. I will work towards it with concentration, but am fully aware of the strong competition.
