Jan 16, 2023: Four ladies, a few firsts, respectable results

A pure quartet of ladies - at least in the saddle - represented the Fleyenhof at the tournament in Muenster. Throughout, my team has delivered beautiful performances, and some successes were particularly gratifying.

The start was made by Janina, who competed for Paderborn with Etro in the competition of the Westphalian county riding associations. In this M**, the nine-year-old Escolar son received 69.461% - a nice round after a longer break from competing.

Anna and Bon Scolari competed in the final of the "Derby Stars of Tomorrow". With their successes in Bettenrode and Oldenburg, the two had qualified. They started with an Inter II, in which Anna scored 68.079 percent with the ten-year-old stallion (by Bon Bravour), which meant 7th place and thus participation in the final. This was decided in a short Grand Prix. Here the score was 68.163 percent, and Anna was awarded a special prize for the best participant from the U25 camp.

Karo brought her Seal to the start in the freestyle tour. With 67.093 %, the two finished ninth in the short Grand Prix. In the freestyle, the 18-year-old Trakehner showed that he is absolutely in shape: sixth place with 71.375 %.

Katharina had four horses with her for the sport. However, the start for her was the stallion show on Wednesday, where she presented Esperado (by Escolar, owner and station: Gut Neuenhof) very nicely.

She finished seventh in a Youngster-S** with Slaide after the 8-year-old black gelding by Spörcken was rated 66.138%.

With Franzel, Katharina presented the youngest horse in the Inter II for young horses and riders. The nine-year-old finished fourth, which was the first three-star placement for the Franziskus son.

In the regional tour at S* level, Katharina Fürst had saddled Fernando. The 10-year-old black stallion by Fürstenball finished third with a score of 72.222 %. Qualified for the finals, the two received 71.053% there and finished second.

Katharina had taken Vino (by Vitalis) along for the four-star tour, the first Grand Prix for the eleven-year-old. In a strong field, the two received 68.640 %. In the Grand Prix Special (also Vino's first) the two were eighth with 70.863 %, which we were very happy with.
